Curbon is a patent-pending software platform that conducts automated life-cycle environmental analyses (LCA) for consumer products
Step 1: Raw Material Extraction
Before a product is assembled, its raw materials must be extracted
Environmental Impact: water usage, carbon emissions, land-use change
Step 2: Pre-Manufacturing
Raw materials must be processed to prepare for manufacturing
Environmental Impact: water pollution, carbon emissions
Step 3: Manufacturing & Assembly
Once the materials are processed, the product can be assembled
Environmental Impact: carbon emissions, water usage & pollution
Step 4: Distribution
After manufacturing, products are transported direct-to-consumer or to dispatch facility

Step 5: Maintenance & Use
The use-phase of products, such as washing and drying a garment, can contribute significantly to its environmental footprint
Environmental Impact: carbon emissions, water usage, micro-plastic pollution
Step 6: Disposal
Products are disposed of at end-of-life
Environmental Impact: greenhouse gas emissions
